Operation Drill Bit

This ought to be fun, I'm running to the Hardware Store now!
Operation Drill Bit

It’s time to reduce our dependency on foreign oil, and begin drilling our own resources… Now!
• That’s why we’re rolling out, “Operation Drill Bit”…
• Here’s what we need to do…
• Go to Lowe’s or Home Depot or whatever mom & pop hardware store you like, and buy a drill bit to send to your congressman or woman…
• In fact, buy at least 3…
• One for your Representative in the House
• And one for each of your two United States Senators.
• Tell them you are sick and tired of gas prices, and of watching this great country borrow money from the Chinese to buy oil from the Saudi’s
Click here to find the address for your senators and congressman.
• Click around on their web pages until you find their Washington, D.C. office… Don’t send anything to a local or district office.
• Include the message: IT'S TIME TO DRILL OUR OWN OIL NOW!
• Let’s flood Washington with drill bits to let them know it’s time to drill ANWR, the Gulf of Mexico and other domestic resources.
• We’re mad as hell, and we’re not going to take it anymore!!!

  1. This is totally foolish. We are not drilling our own oil because we will need it in the future. Why would we dry up our land and shores of all the oil when we can invade the Middle East and Venezuela.

    Dont Drill America

ITS RESERVED FOR EMERGENCY USE, LIKE WHEN THE MIDDLE EAST RUNS DRY!

  2. You've GOT to be kidding me! The future? In the future???? Solar energy is doubling in efficency every TWO years! At that rate, it will cost LESS to produce a kilowatt from Solar panels than Oil within 5 years. If prices drop in half, within 7 years. In 20 years, we will have Nonotech produced Solar Panels and Hydrogen Fuel Cells that will replace internal combustion engines completely. We need that oil now and need to stop exporting Trillions of dollars to the Middle East and other areas that want to kill us.

  3. Can you spell STUPID? This scam was probably initiated by Home Depot or Lowes. Oh, hurry, let's all go and buy drill bits and make them even wealthier than they already are. WAKE UP!!!!

  4. tiredoldman, this is what I've come to expect from the left. Can't come up with an intelligent argument, so you start with the name calling.
I'm not telling everyone to go out and get $10.00 Titanium bits, just the el Cheepo, $1.00 ones. I didn't state it because I'm kind of thinking that this is pretty obvious. I just sent in all the old ones I had lying around that had become too dull and needed to be replaced anyway, so I simply "recycled" mine.
It's comments like yours that makes me seriously think about Moderating this Blog.
