Who Defended the Chains?
The Republican Party was founded in 1854 to stop slavery from spreading. When Southern Democrats lost the election of 1860, they walked out of the Union rather than give it up. Then the war ended and the Klan was born, with its first Grand Wizard a delegate to the 1868 Democratic National Convention. Why don't the history books lead with that?

Who Voted No?
The 14th and 15th Amendments, citizenship and the vote for Black men, passed without a single Democratic vote in either chamber. Not one. Then Southern Democrats filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for 60 working days. So which party got credit for civil rights, and how?
Who Marched Them Off the Land?
Andrew Jackson built the modern Democratic Party, and in 1830 he signed the Indian Removal Act. The Cherokee won at the Supreme Court in 1832. Jackson ignored it. Roughly 4,000 died on the Trail of Tears. Then, in 1942, about 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry were forced into camps behind barbed wire. No charges. No trials. Who finally apologized? Who Built the Prisons and Broke the Home?
The 1994 crime bill put about $9.7 billion into prisons, and Joe Biden wrote much of it. For decades welfare paid mothers more if there was no man in the house. In 1965, about 1 in 4 Black children were born to unmarried mothers. Today it's about 7 in 10. Lock the fathers up, pay them to stay away, then call it compassion?
What About Right Now?
More than 2 million border encounters in fiscal 2022, and again in 2023. A $250 million theft from a Minnesota program meant to feed children during the pandemic. A Gallup poll in June 2025 found only 36 percent of Democrats extremely or very proud to be American, the lowest ever recorded. Flags burned at Union Station. Jewish students chased across campus. Is this the party of the people?
Who Pays the Price?
Black women are about 14 percent of American women and account for about 40 percent of abortions in states that report race. Teachers unions send well over 90 percent of their money to Democrats, and the party fights school choice while most charter students are Black or Hispanic. Their kids get choice. Yours get the grid. Who's really being saved?
